Missoula’s Clark Fork River Market Moves Indoors for Winter |
After its outdoor season on Pattee Street, the Saturday market heads inside to The Badlander on Ryman Street for November through April. |

Cold weather doesn’t mean the end of Saturday market runs in Missoula. The Clark Fork River Market is heading indoors.
According to the Clark Fork River Market, the market runs on Saturdays at two locations, depending on the season.
Where and when
The market’s website lists the seasonal pattern but not specific opening dates for this winter, so check the site or its social media before your first trip.
Leave the pup at home
The market asks shoppers not to bring dogs or other pets. It notes that the Missoula County Health Department prohibits dogs in food vending settings. Service dogs are allowed.
Why shop the winter market
Winter markets keep local farmers, ranchers and makers in front of customers during the slow months. They’re also a good place to find gifts, pantry staples and treats from your neighbors.
Shopping at a winter market also keeps more of your holiday spending with local farmers and makers, right when many of them need it most.

The other winter market
The Missoula Valley Winter Market is another seasonal option. As of Oct. 24, its website said a new 2026 site was “currently taking shape” and didn’t yet list this season’s dates or location. We’ll share details when they’re posted.
